ASSISTANT MANAGER

The assistant manager supports the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and team productivity. This role assists the GM in supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing sales performance, and fostering a positive, professional environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, cannabis industry knowledge, and a passion for providing exceptional service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in daily dispensary operations, including opening/closing procedures
Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve sales and service goals
Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations
Oversee inventory management, product intake, and reposting accuracy
Resolve customer concerns and maintain a welcoming environment
Support scheduling, performance evaluations, and team communication
Monitor sales metrics and identify opportunities for improvement

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of retail or customer service experience (management preferred)
Strong knowledge of cannabis products, compliance, and regulations
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Must meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Trustworthy & Reliable
Punctual
Technologically-inclined (ability to learn new computer programs & troubleshoot POS and printers)
